PROJECT ECO
When luxury meets sustainability

High-end Luxury and future-proof sustainability are words that should go hand-in-hand when creating the idyllic home – as is the case with this incredibly design-centric home.

Built to unique architectural specifications of exceptional standards, this new home and pool was an absolute dream project for our team to embark upon – despite its various challenges that included difficult access, building a bridge over a creek capable of supporting heavy vehicles & machinery, extra compliance issues to meet the very high risk Bush Fire Zoning and flooding threats thanks to the creek that runs through the site.

With sustainability at the heart of the build, a primary focus was to ensure the home’s energy use would make it as self-sufficient and sustainable as possible. This meant careful planning and implementation of key inclusions such as high thermal specifications for all glazing; under-slab insulation; a solar panel system with two storage batteries and the use of recycled bricks with cavity insulation.

This future-focused range of energy saving inclusions was met by premium styling such as gorgeous timber finishes; considered windows and skylights that invite daylight throughout the home; stunning mosaic tiling in the bathroom and interior detailing that spared little expense. The final project rapidly evolved into a breathtakingly beautiful home whilst remaining wonderfully eco-friendly.

Exemplary Living

We’re incredibly proud of this three-storey, 5 bed + study home that came with its own set of challenges to build. A sloping site made for difficult access that required some early problem solving. This project allowed us to use a variety of materials that really invited us to explore the construction possibilities before us.

Building an effective storm water management system to meet Council standards can be challenging at the best of times, but add to that the sloping site that sits below street level and we suddenly had to think on our feet. With some innovative brainstorming, we created a custom-built gravity fed system that provided the perfect solution.

The owners were delighted with the way the main living areas take full advantage of the spectacular views yet still link to the street and equally thrilled with the fantastic entertaining area that flows seamlessly to the pool & garden.
